A simple and ancient recipe to preserve the juicy, thin skinned figs of Calabria. The figs are lightly baked, pressed together into a ball which is wrapped in a fig leaf and baked again. Unwrap the fig leaf and figs are bursting with juice!

The caramelised fig and liquorice flavours are irresistible with fresh pecorino cheese, ricotta and other creamy cheeses.
Sweet Dottato figs are blended with orange peel, walnut and rum. Shaped into a block and covered in dark chocolate. Slice and serve (or keep it all to yourself!!) Absolutely delicious. Made in Calabria, Italy.
